Seattle has had beautiful weather over the past month. Summer arrived early and we have been trying to make the most of it. We have had long days with temperatures in the 70s and 80s. Beautiful views of the mountains and lots of wildlife from the Briny Beach Cabin.

What do you do when you are in the perfect place at the perfect time of the year with perfect weather? Well, you go somewhere guaranteed to rain. We are going to Alaska. Specifically, we are taking a National Geographic Lindblad Expedition Cruise. We will be exploring a portion of the Inside Passage for eight days.
